There are currently four levels of examination (Intern Classification, Certified Farrier, Certified Tradesman Farrier, and Certified Journeyman Farrier) offered by the AFA and two specialty endorsements offered to Journeyman level farriers. Please click on a level below for more detailed information. For specific level requirements and test preparation, click here or go to the AFA Certification Study Guide.
