Becoming AFA Certified

There are currently four levels of examination (Intern Classification, Certified Farrier, Certified Tradesman Farrier, and Certified Journeyman Farrier) offered by the AFA and two specialty endorsements offered to Journeyman level farriers. 1 AFA Intern Classification Requirements
   
2 AFA Certified Farrier (CF) Examination
   
2 AFA Certified Tradesman Farrier (CTF) Examination
   
3 AFA Certified Journeyman Farrier (CJF) Examination
